Floral Botanical Wedding

The Kraft - Hyman Wedding was straight out of a floral lover's dream. Set in a Louisville botanical garden for the daughter of a florist, every inch of this wedding had over the top blooms around every corner.

It was a hot summer day as Shelby Kraft and Alex Hyman said "I Do". Shelby and her bridesmaids got ready in the venue's beautiful stone castle and Alex and his groomsmen in the 1800s log cabin. Making your way into the ceremony you pass through a row of lined trees to the meadow lawn where the two exchanged their vows. The venue was the perfect backdrop of flora and fauna gardens. Cocktail hour was held upon the stone terrace overlooking a field of wildflowers for signature drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres.

The reception was a party everyone would want to attend. They had an 11-piece band that had guests on their feet all night long, a plated dinner of a delicious vegetable gnocchi dish, and an open bar that had to keep restocking due to some very thirsty guests.

For design, we created a classic wedding suite with simple black on white stationary. We knew the florals as well as the venue were going to take center stage, therefore wanted to keep the designs sleek. Together we created programs, table numbers, name cards, the seating chart, welcome signage, bar signage, and directional signs.

The day was emotional, upbeat, beautiful, (hot), and filled with so much love from all those in attendance.

In loving memory of Michael Kraft
