As a girl who wears many hats, cowgirl is her favorite. Sarah Hardison gathered 13 friends to road trip down to Destin, Florida for her last single hoorah. We decided on a Cowgirl Casanova theme calling it "Yee Hardison".
We created a photo backdrop with a balloon arch and letter balloons (that was supposed to say Yee Hardison which didn't quite fit so "Yee Hardi" it was) and metallic plastic. We did a second backdrop with silver star fringe. There were balloons throughout, letter boards, garlands, fringe, and banners. I created labels with Sarahs nickname and attached them to a dozen bottles of champagne. I printed both Sarah and Phil's faces into face stickers as well as packed along their big head prints (which have made an appearance at all of Sarah's wedding events).
There were bandanas for each girl with her first initial, colored heart glasses, a plastic drink pouch with their name, koozies, reusable pink star straws, ring pops, plastic pink cowboy hats, star badges, glow sticks, temporary tattoos, and wigs. We gave Sarah a box of accessories to wear and use throughout the weekend.
Friday and Saturday we hit the beach and Sunday we rented two boats to head out to Crab Island. As it was Memorial Day Weekend there were boats galore. We donned our bandanas and cowboy hats and Sarah rode all around the channel on her bull float until sunset.
We had a blast running around the Gulf coast; never a dull moment celebrating everyone's favorite girl. Here's to throwing it back once again at the Morgan Wedding, Cheers!
