Big Fat Gracey Wedding

Welcome to Sarah Hardison and Philip Morgan's beautiful backyard wedding in the Kentucky countryside.

It was a lovely day watching their family grow surrounded by all of their loved ones.

The mother of the groom set up the most perfect bridal suite. There were tons of people surrounding Sarah all morning and afternoon. We put together a 'Letters to the Bride' book for her filled with notes from her bridesmaids and loved ones. It was so sweet watching her read through (pre-makeup because ... cue the tears).

The ceremony was held on the parents of the groom's home front porch. Rain was in the forecast for the day so they moved a tent in which luckily was not needed. We were blessed with clear skies and I personally give some credit to the bottle of bourbon that was buried a month prior. Always bury the bourbon!

Sarah and Phil each provided dirt from each of the home's they grew up and combined them into a planter with a tree to later plant at their home. It was a great idea to get to watch their love grow physically as their family does for years to come.

The reception was gorgeously executed. It was exactly the couple's style in every touch.

The table numbers were on champagne bottles which the guests were asked to pop and pour for the toasts. The bottles that were not finished during toasts were quickly grabbed when the dance floor picked up. A showstopper of the night was a vintage 1969 Volkswagen Westfalia Bus that has been converted into a photobooth. Guests loved getting their photos taken all night. The dance floor was packed from start to finish and everyone was having the best time.
